Rock Band

I played the coolest EVER video game, Rock Band, at the kids house last night. Talk about way too much fun. First I was the drummer, rhythmically banging out sounds to 90's music that I'd barely heard before. I tried my turn at lead singer which was really interesting since again it was purely sight reading some random Weezer song, or something. Then came the biggest challenge of all; the guitar. It took me awhile to get the hang of strumming, reading the descending color codes on the screen and then pressing the corresponding button. At first I will admit that I failed a couple of times and had to be saved by the rest of the band, the kids (who by the way knew all of the songs). I finally ended up with scores of 85-93%. YEAH!!!! It's a good think that this is not sitting in my house because I would definitely not get anything else done. A lot of fun on a Saturday evening. Also, the home cooked meal of crabs cakes was pretty awesome too.
