The Weekend

Things have been going so well that there is not much to write. Since my white cell count is low I've been STUCK in this house for way to long. We needed to visit the grocery store so I made a comprehensive list for Steve and I rode along and stayed in the car (reading) while he shopped. I must say he did a great job, except that he bought store brand chocolate syrup instead of Hersheys. EVEN THOUGH the comprehensive list said Hersheys. He said we had a communication issue. Haven't tried it yet, so maybe I'll be surprised, and he will be right. We were invited to one of our neighbor friends for a steak dinner on Saturday evening. "I can't believe I ate the WHOLE thing". My appetite is definitely back but I do get full pretty quickly. Sunday (today) we've just been doing some small jobs around the house. I've almost completed the switch out of my closet. Should be done tomorrow. Steve went to visit his Dad this afternoon and I stayed home and knitted. I am working on a reversible scarf using some to my leftover yarn. We are trying a new recipe out of the "cancer cookbook" this evening; chicken pot pie. If it's as good as it looks, it should be a keeper. Going to watch the Illinois family on "Move That Bus" and Amazing Race. Steve has off tomorrow, so I'll have some company. Maybe we'll get a few more odd jobs done.
